Student bars & clubs in Barcelona

Barcelona has an excellent nightlife with its selection of different bars and clubs there really is something here for everyone with so many different people from across the globe. In summer people go to the terraces along the beach. In the winter the “old town” is a popular place to go out in Barcelona.

There are many student nights in different clubs who also give discounts on entry price and drinks as part of special student deals.

The nightlife starts very late, because of the Spanish habit of eating late; it will be late in the clubs as well. If you want to go out in Barcelona don’t even think about going around mid night. Most clubs get busy around 2am so it’s advised to have a nap during the day. Be aware as most of the clubs ask for a fee to get in but don’t worry you’ll get a free drink included in this…generally a strong one too!

Many clubs have a promotional team who offers you free entrance and or drink offers at the same time. You will find most of the promoters on the La Ramblas or on the beach. It's a good way of discovering a lot of fancy discotheques in Barcelona…
